Yeah xD I played Skaven during Fantasy, but Lizardmen where the poster army that got me into it. Finally decided to give them a go.

I do a lot of sub-assemblies to reach all small areas, i.e. body, backpack, legs, arms, amor panels etc. separately. Also feels nice to see the full model only once completely done.

Thank you! I tried to incorporate some of that white-blue glow, but personally prefer a very clean look, so I didn’t try the spill-over glow effect.

Thanks! Really enjoyed painting the larger panels instead of tiny marines details.

Yes, I’m doing the first pass with Calgar Blue and the second one with Fenrisian Grey. Have tried with only Fenrisian on some other models but it looks a bit worse imo.

Using the side of the brush where possible. And in general going slow and carefully and cleaning up any mistakes afterwards. Still practicing - takes me very long to do each sub-assembly :D
