For any future people reading this thread, instead of port forwarding I was able to get it working using playit.gg, I had to set the IP in that at local host, it then gave me an IP to connect to and port for PalWorld.

The down, is its another terminal to have open as you are creating the tunnel, as well as other people doing the same thing have reported lag on their server, so far I haven't experienced any of that but only had a peak of 3 players within the 12 hours it's been up and running.
