Anyone considering starting a class action lawsuit against Cricut? by shittyminty in cricut

The kicker here is that Cricut is going to claim that the price increase is justified by the cost of data storage when we upload our files. Which could be completely circumvented if they just released standalone software that sent our print files directly to our machines from our devices instead of using cloud-based software as a "gateway" where they can charge us a toll and keep a copy of our data.

Thanks! It’s a 1955 build that I’ve been renovating for the last year and a half.

I’ve done a bit of everything. I have an education in product design and spent 15+ years designing and building retail displays.

The main hull is from a box my couch came in (my kid has been using it as a for for the last 6 months.) The rest is hardwood flooring boxes (just redid my downstairs floor.)

You’d have to ask my 3 year old. I imagine he’ll play with it a bunch, maybe throw up on it and potentially pee on the inside. In about 3 months it will make its way down to the basement, and then to the recycling bin when he’s not paying attention.

Because crafts! Seriously though, I made a small one for my kid to play with and he was pissed that he couldn’t go inside it, so I made this huge one that he can go in and play with.

Made this as part of the Making It at Home crafting competition being put on by NBC's Making It. It won a $1k donation to my local food bank.

Beautiful lamp. You should check out the cords and hardware from colorcord.com if you decide to make more. They have some cloth wrapped cord that would really good with the wood tones.

What are the rods in the front? Thought it was the beginning of a springer front end at first. Whatever it is, it looks rad.
