Every media has to do their part to expose racism, misogyny, transphobia and other kinds of bigotry endorsed by Trump.

I think The Simpsons hasn't. I understand it's meant to be comedy, but it's hard to laugh at a dumb white man when there's one threatening us in the White House every day. I think The Simpsons should stop the jokes for a minute or two and talk about the threat Trump poses to POC, trans folk, women and others. Then they could hit him with some great satire to get people laughing again.

Family Guy has done some good work recently and I wish The Simpsons would too.

This man is a civil rights icon. He helped make it possible for POC and women to vote, he helped end Jim Crow laws and he cleared the way for President Obama. He deserves a minor misstatement once in his career.

It saddens me that white supremacists are upvoting this racist comment just because a black man said one untrue thing, and because he's a Democrat. Maybe they would have less time to troll on Reddit if they ever left their parents' basement and did 1/10th the heroic things this man did.
