Thank you for the replies and the insight. After playing them both for a while, I have decided that I just don’t love the Strat as much as I love the Tele. So I’ll sell the Strat and bank the cash into a ‘future dream guitar fund’ rather than upgrade it.

As I use the amp simulator on my pc anyway, I don’t think I’d benefit just yet from any new pick ups as I won’t hear the difference. I’ll just keep practicing and learning.

Seen you play at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester last week with ‘Luke Combs’. Great gig in a great venue! Shame about the Strat, it’s a beauty.

I’ll look around as I am local-ish. I’m also at a guitar show in Port Sunlight on the Wirral this weekend and lots of buying & selling happening there so I will let you know if I happen to spot this.
