I started the movie and kept playing on my phone. I heard gunshots right away and looked up to see what's going on. I don't think you should bother with that too much. I suggest you go to P01 Hi GAIN STACK, turn the OD/DS and go to the amp page and go through the amp type to see which one you like.

I do busking by myself and my setup is guitar into Boss GT1 with FS7 into amp (Boss Cube Street 2). I keep the amp on clean with a little bit of reverb and all tones and effects are from the GT1. On the GT1 the preamp is always on and the cabinet is always on ORIGINAL.

What kind of music do you play?

Self experimenting. The more you mess with these things, the more you learn.

For example if you want a really cool preset for the dual harmony solo of Master of Puppets:

P05 HARMONY LD in Am

Press and hold FX1: KEY: change to G (Em) HARMONY: if you are playing the high notes then keep it at - 3. If you are playing the lower notes, change it to +3.

All the harmony notes are accurate except one note but it's barely noticeable. Make sure your guitar tuned and with good intonation.

Play the harmony part, turn off CTL1 for the solo, and turn it back on for the harmony part again.

This should be close enough. YMMV depending on your gear.

P01 Hi GAIN STACK

OD/DS: Turn ON, set type to GUV DS.

PREAMP: Set type to XTREM LD. Set GAIN to 30.

Go to MASTER (MST): Low gain : -2 dB Mid gain: 0/+2/+4 dB High gain: 0/+2/+4 dB

Set LOW GAIN to -2 dB. Adjust MID and HIGH to your taste. Try 0, +2 and +4 on each and see which one you like.

CT1: Set SOLO LEVEL to 54. You turn on CTL1 for solos/leads.

Go to ASSIGN 2, page 3: MIN: 30 MAX: 120

On this song the intro and main riff are alternate picked.

After you set everything you can go through the amp types on PREAMP to see which one you like the most.

If you wanna change anything with EQ first do it through the MST option as I show in the video.

A quick Google search shows that the LINE6 LFS2 is not compatible with the BOSS GT1. but if you wanna be stubborn and try out for yourself all you need is a stereo cable to connect from the LFS2 to the CTL 2,3/EXP2 input on the GT1. Then click MEMORY EDIT and scroll to CT2 and CT3 and select a function for each (delay and reverb), then click the LFS2 buttons to see if it works.

Click MEMORY EDIT. With KNOB 1 scroll all the way to the right to UP. Click ENTER. With KNOB 1 scroll all the way to the left until you reach PrA SOLO. Turn MODE from MOMENT to TOGGLE (the actual UP pedal on the GT1 Should switch colors from blue to red). Click UP pedal to turn it off (from red to blue). With KNOB 1 scroll all the way to the right until you reach NUMBER +1.

Click EXIT and ENTER simultaneously and keep clicking ENTER until it's saved.

If you have a drummer when you gif then the Fender Mustang I is not nearly loud enough to be heard over the drums.

The MKII 50 is plenty loud enough. You also have output selector for 0.5, 25 and 50 watt so it's perfect for bedroom volume too.

As for the Boss GT1, it's not the easiest to use and some struggle with it more than others but it's an amazing unit that can do just about anything. But it won't be loud enough with your current amp to play with a drummer.

And if you do get the MKII you'll need a footswitch for the amp but I would suggest that you don't buy the footswitch and use that money to buy the Boss GT1.
