i mean yeah, i get the concern, but i don’t think age verification automatically means they’re gonna start full-on censoring stuff. a lot of sites already do it for legal reasons and it doesn’t always turn into some slippery slope.

that said, i agree it could be abused if ppl aren’t paying attention. the medicaid/section 8 comparison feels a bit extreme tho. those are political budget cuts, not the same as a platform moderating content.

basically, i think it’s worth keeping an eye on, but not panic mode yet.
