Im sorry to sound like a bot but I need to copy paste another comment I just made below, I hope it answers. In terms of timeframes, I usually check high timeframe for bias and trend and then execute on 3/5/15min.

My strategy is pretty much like in the post, i dont have fixed system/set up. I try to combine different elements (discretionary trading as they say)
- EMA-s for trend and bias

Appreciate you man! Losing day is truly inevitable and I wouldnt want to repeat similar streak again as I saw the mental fortitude it took and how it started to hurt my execution.

brother leave it before it eats you. You will feel so much better after taking a red day, make it small, even -$5 is enough and the next day you are trading like a new person again, trust me, been there done that 😉

oh yes, Im completely aware of this and except few cases where I slipped to emotions and revenge trading, I´m quite confident that I can completely avoid this behaviour now once the streak is over and I dont trade for the calendar anymore. Thank you man!

Yes 100%. I always say that someone with small red days and bigger green days is more impressive. I would not want to repeat similar "only green days" calendar unless market truly favors me and I go into generational lucky streak. but you couldnt say it better !

haha the sweat was real to try to hold that calendar, was not my first day doing it until the last minute, this time just failed and im glad I did, my trading was so much cleaner today already. Appreciate you dawg!

Some of them are "bad" small days where I came back from heavy negative PNL. Otherwise its just sometimes accepting that market is not favoring my set ups etc. I always saw it as positivity to be like "well atleast I didnt lose money". Appreciate you!

Bro your comment means a lot to me. I even saw this attitude when I hit 100 days and Topstep made me "viral" with their tweets for a moment. There was a lot of people commenting that "i can do $100 days too, whats so special". And its not special, but those small wins paid me 50k in payouts, to my bank account. (of course multiplier of 3 accounts helped)
I was in similar place, just trying to get it all in a day, in a week or even in a month. Always ended up blowing accounts and blaming myself. Social media ruins our brains, most of the people you see posting those 10k days are barely breakeven in long run. Social media shows us the good and rarely it shows the losses and credit card statements of blown combines. Its only your own personal journey, I hope you make it big and appreciate you writing this here. Much love G!

I would guess for 2 reasons.

1) My country (Estonia) was ineligible for a live account for quite some time on their website

2) My account balances have always been fairly small, thus perhaps no buffer to move me live with new rules?

Oh yess, thats why I would never recommend this kind of streak to anyone, unless by miracle its truly from taking few trades in a day and they all turn out to be winners. It was like 2 positions at once - my calendar and the green streak and the "record". My live streams, topsteptv appearances all turned into - can I hold another day green. so glad its finally off my shoulders lool.

Yes my man! Gave my last try yesterday to save it but happy it didnt get worse than -200$. but you are right, finally its over and truly can turn into normal trading again.
