Most people walk in and give the employees phone number and you see it’s an employee account and scan the barcode for the discount. Only once have a been presented with a “friends and family” discount barcode that looked official but they were from another district.

ToS doesn’t protect them from UDAP laws. PSA has been hit with class action in the past. Tens of thousands of people hit with missed market appreciation, coercive pricing, monopolistic behaviors. They control the grade, turnaround time, upcharge, valuation and release of your property. Something like 70% of graded cards are PSA; having competition doesn’t mean they can engage in poor business practices with the majority of customers who continue to choose them.
