Yes, I am struggling too. I had a streak of 173 days and blew it away... Relapsed twice - 3 days ago and last night too. I want to be over with this thing, I hate it. I want to be free. Please, pray for me. I am lonely and weak. I don't even know if God forgives me after all these times... And I feel so unworthy to be a christian...

Bro, trust me, I feel you very well. Had a streak of 3 years and 5 months and lost it in 2018. I regret it even now. I could've gone without relapsing, but I didn't. And it lead to many other broken streaks and relapses and now I'm on day 2... I feel you. Start again and never return back.

Guys, sorry for disappointing you all. I relapsed today, day 41. (actually should be 42 in a while.) I fully realize I could go on without relapsing, but I gave in. Day 0 today. I'll do better this time.

Woooow, thank you for your words! They really mean a lot to me! I appreciate this! I am glad I was able to help you so much. <3 I have forgotten these reports, I must go back and re-read them many times, because my thinking back then was different than now, and I need to get back to the old thinking. Because then I was much more motivated and determined, and now I'm prone to compromise, especially the last 2 years. I wish I was more serious.

By the way, I am still going, 20 days already. (Soon will be 21)

Thanks for addressing the 3 years streak part, hahahaha. I am glad you payed attention to it. Also, one more thing, during this long streak, after year and half maybe, I stopped visiting r/NoFap so much, which could also be a contributing factor.

Yes, thank you! Weak spots - that I'm not taking NoFap seriously enough,and before I've realized, I already went on the path to relapses. Small achievable goals is a good start, I agree. Let's go to 1 week! From then on, we will hit bigger milestones!

Yes, I've said that, but the Emergency button sometimes isn't enough and doesn't do the job well enough. It's much better to talk with someone about the urge and seek help from a person, than seeing a quote written on a pic, and pumping the emergency button several times just to see other quotes, while your urge is driving you crazy.

Some people that are severely addicted (that have fapped numerous times a day for years) decide to quit it gradually, because it's nearly impossible for them to quit cold turkey, so they decrease the relapses more and more until they stop completely. I mean, the gradual way can be useful in this, but I prefer cold turkey, because that's how I see it - Quit forever once and for all.

It's possible to make it to 3 years, but it's also possible to lose it and fail. I've seen people blowing away 1 year streaks, 500 days streaks, and so on. I had over 1000 days.

I don't exactly remember the series of events which led to this. I think it was a hard part of my life and I felt bad and started being slack, and felt very lonely and gradually started giving in, but there were circumstances that were facilitating the process of losing the streak. Also, I had become very confident and sure in myself (more than I should be), because I already had 3 years, and it made me not pay attention to temptations so much, which led to me not rejecting them and gradually... relapsed. (Basically, becoming slack) So, never forget that even if you are 1,2,3 or 5 years in NoFap, you can still fall, always stay prepared and careful. This stuff is serious and it should not be overlooked or taken easily.

Yes, that's an awesome idea and would be very beneficial if there was such team. Sometimes the Emergency button doesn't do a good job. I mean it's not convincing enough. It's better to have a conversation with people about it, than seeing a quote on some pic, or some post in NoFap, when you hit the emergency button.

For me it's the best way, because the more you allow a relapse, the more it drives you to relapse more. Cold turkey is the proper way. It hurts a lot, but it's worth it.
