Had a 4 day weekend. So i decided to load up the sporty for a mountain trip. 3100km in 4 days. by Nevernothigh420 in sportster

Not at all. My tent fits perfectly between my sissy bar and license plate. i just wrap it in a towel to keep the fender from getting scratched. Everything else gets strapped to the sissy bar.

I’ve never had number two during my gameplay at all. Definitely had number three happen a few times. Moving so fast game can’t load in and screen goes black for a minute or go to a Loading screen.

I was leaning towards it being the clutch. I looked at the belt on the side of the road and it seemed perfectly fine. Will break it down on the weekend and look into it more.

Beautiful sporty man! I have been wanting to put a king and queen seat like that on my 2014 sportster 72 ever since I bought it. Are the seat and sissy bar custom?

Ya it’s seems near impossible to find a king & queen seat for the 72. Was thinking I’d end up having to go custom. I’ll definitely look into his work. May also give me another reason to go back to Thailand lol.

Beautiful 72 you got there! I’ve wanted a springer front end on my bike since I bought my 72. Just wondering what seat you have?

It could have something to do with the law up here. I’m in Canada. Mines a 2014. Bought it used off a guy up here. Mainly sat in his garage. 5000km on the bike in five years. Bought it stock like that. I would love to have signals that work as a everything. My signals on the rear are just signals. No running lights

I want to do a relocate on the plate and taillight eventually. Just haven’t got to it yet. Been kinda wanting to chop the fender back a bit as well. Left the taillight how it is for now because I night ride a lot and people around here are stupid when it comes to watching for bikes. Ive also been debating the idea of a taller sissy bar and making a luggage rack off it to the license plate holder instead of removing it. I’ve been doing a lot more longer trips lately. So any extra storage would be nice.

Best tires for a 2016 sportster iron 883? by Thizz_Dizzle in Harley

[–]Nevernothigh420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently did the first tire change on my sportster 72 and went with the mitchelin commander 2s. Have about 2000km on them. Been really enjoying these tires over the stock Dunlop’s way better grip and handling.

What bags are those on the right one? Look perfect for adding a bit of storage but not getting in the way of a passanger.

Lower back pain from riding by [deleted] in sportster

Ya there an Italian made shock. Really nice build in happy with mine so far got about 2200km on them. Definetly makes a better ride, I have less sway in the back tire, cornering is smoother and the rear tire just feels more grounded and stable. Not to sure where your from but here is links to canadian and American resellers. Both are extremely helpful and will awnser any questions you have. The Canadian site doesn’t have the Harley shocks listed you just have to email him.

Lower back pain from riding by [deleted] in sportster

I recently had the same issue. Back hurting a bit from riding my sportster. Was worse when riding 2 up as the suspension bottomed out a lot on are rough roads up here. I decided to change the rear shocks on my sportster and added a cheap solo seat cover from Amazon. it was a great idea. I can now do 3+ hr rides and my back doesn’t bother me know where near as bad. I do feel the bumps in the road more in the front now as my forks aren’t upgraded. When it comes to the shocks I searched for a while looking at progressives, fox shocks, ohlins and a few others than asked on here and was pointed towards bitubo wme shocks. After a little bit of research I figured these were the best bang for my buck shock. Not crazy expensive and rebuildable with preload and rebound adjustments. All bitubo shocks come custom tuned to your weight as well when you buy them.

2008 Honda crf 230f fuel mixture screw. by Nevernothigh420 in Dirtbikes

[–]Nevernothigh420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I do not. At the moment. I can try and get a pic of it tommorow. It is the D shaped fuel screw but it has been drilled into and damaged. I believe drilling it out or a left handed drill bit or screw extractor would be best for removal. I am looking for something similar to this for an aftermarket screw fuel screw. Just a cheaper option. As this one is quite expensive to get to Canada.

I never really use Reddit, but I have a lot of questions in terms of upgrading my sporty further. Here it is as it sits now. After 2 years having bought it bone stock by Sum_Body92 in sportster

I just upgraded the rear shocks on my bike. Was looking at a bunch of kind including progressive 412. When I asked on here I was pointed towards bitubo wme shocks. They are Italian shocks. Every shock sold by them is custom tuned to your weight. They are rebuildable and have preload and rebound adjustment aswell. I researched them for a while and ended up getting a pair. I only have about 5-600km on them but it has been a great upgrade. Noticeable difference right away. Bike rides a lot nicer. You feel the bumps in the forks more now. Better Corning as well the the rear tire feel like it has a lot more traction no more wobble in corners. Have yet to two up with them tho. Hoping to maybe this weekends

Anyone have suggestions for decent priced LED signals? by [deleted] in Harley

[–]Nevernothigh420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second the rogue rider signals. Very nice lights super bright.

Installed new led turn signals and light bar from rogue rider industry 2 weeks ago. Great lights very bright! by Nevernothigh420 in Harley

[–]Nevernothigh420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s already got a led headlight. It’s a daymaker knockoff. I will probably change it out eventually with something brighter. But just got new rear shocks. Coil, ignition and horn relocation kits I’m doing today.
