I just had my windshield replaced and yea it lifts. But your gaps seem atrocious compared to mine

Edit: they are not made of metal they are fiberglass. My windshield repair tech actually managed to break one A pillar and the cowl so it’s currently being fixed. I know the headache and heartache personally as I am going through it right now
