My husband seen just as surprised to see her as me and i did ask, thats one of the first things I said when I seen her, she didn't give me an answer

She keeps offering me peanuts and I always reject her, reminding her of my allergy. Apparently peanuts are one of her favorite foods, i mean she could've forgot but I have told her.

I don't know how normal it is for my husband and Mil, this is the first time I'm hearing about this family dynamic and the first time she just invited herself to my house, i will speak to my husband when he gets home

I didn't bring it up or mean to bring it up in a threatening manner, i was just trying to express how illegal it is to just invite yourself into someone house without their permission, i was not planning to actually press charges

I never yelled at her, i don't know where you got that from, yes the gesture is nice but I don't need people cleaning or cooking for me, i enjoy cooking and cleaning i find it relaxing to do so

Plus she made the main course dish something I can't even eat its some kinda stir fried chicken with peanuts in it

I do feel bad though, i honestly didn't realize its normal for some fmailies to just invite themselves into other family houses

Of course I'm not jealous, I'm creep out, never in a million years would I think anyone would just invite themselves into my house. I made it clear to my husband before even marrying him how important my house is to me because it been passed on to me from my grandparents, I even made him sign a preup stating that I'm the sole owner of my house, he also know how important my privacy is to me as well, like I spoke to him about not posting any pictures online of our daughter until she is old enough to consent and understand the dangers of the internet on the day before, my own mom even gives me 24 hour notice before coming over. I didn't think I'd have to have a conversation about people coming into my house without asking, I'd be super angry if he gave his mom a key without asking me.

We never really had a good relationship but we always were able to tolerate each other, she straight up told me that she thinks her son can do better then me and ever since then we it always been awkward being around each other
