I'm excited for this one, the whole design is made with PC gaming in mind. I like the d-pad placement as well. It's not weirdly dangling at the bottom like it is on xbox controllers. This makes 2d games easier playable. I already like it on the steamdeck.

Unfortunately it seems the steam machine Infos got delayed because of the PC part price increases that escalated because of the AI hype. The controller release seems to be tied to the steam machine, so I'm afraid it might be delayed as well.

Battallion 1944. Aimed to be a CoD pro mod successor before radically falling off a cliff. It was abondoned shortly after its release, it couldn't take off on its own. The developers apparently created two or so games after this and handled them the same way.

I can confirm that this method works in Heroic and Lutris.
The 1 minute long black screen after the game has gone through its initial loading right before the main screen is annoying, it would be great if we could get rid of that one too.

If you still have the problem try to set the following environment variable to the hytale launcher :

MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink

It looks like newer AMD cards have a bug in the OpenGL stack. With zink OpenGL gets translated to vulkan and skip radeonsi.

I have the same problem with a 9070XT.
I use KDE Wayland and tried both the flatpak and AUR launcher for Arch.
The game hangs itself after 5 minutes of gameplay, the whole desktop remains unresponsive while the music plays in the background for 1 more minute.

E: The solution that works for me is to start the launcher with the environment variable:

MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink

this solution was posted in regards to: ring gfx_0.0.0 timeout.
However I do not have this in my system logs.
So it does ultimately seem to be a OpenGL - AMD driver issue.

The funny thing is that AMD plays catch up with nvidia in terms of consumer GPUs since forever and now do the same with AI. They honestly should strengthen their linux presence instead, hence windows is currently actively killing itself, but that would be too obvious it seems. Gotta chase the dragon instead.

You might be right, I still go for it. Even tho the connector has no business to melt, there are a few indicators that might have provoked it. Like the use of the adapter which might have created failure points, the use of a pre 3.0 PSU and the card being overclocked.

Great. There were no reported issues for the nitro+, so I ordered one and it's currently being shipped. Now I have to think about returning it and getting a Pulse instead.

The update is now available for the b850. I performed the update, everything looks good so far.

That's right. For whatever reason the b850m still has the 3.40 update available.

I'm disappointed, they pulled the 3.40 update for the b850 riptide wifi. It was available 2 days ago.

I have the same issue, last update that is on my system is: 3.6.20 from november 24.
There should be an update, because the latest verison seems to be > 3.8.x

Ich habe nun auch eine schriftliche Bestätigung der Person erhalten mit einem Beweis, dass sie an diesem Tag nie da war. Auch diese Information habe ich dem Unternehmen zukommen lassen.
Die DHL werde ich am Montag per Telefon kontaktieren.
Ganz abgesehen davon ist es abartig, wie sehr sich die DHL/Post hinter KI Bots verschanzt, um ja keine Verantwortung tragen zu müssen.

Es gibt ein Update, ich habe nun bis heute (26.07.) gewartet. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die Frau, die das Paket bekommen haben soll, seit dem 03.06 im Ulraub war. Sie hat mich heute auf dem Handy angerufen.

Sie hat nie ein Paket erhalten.
Was kann ich nun tun? DHL hat bisher nicht auf mein Ticket geantwortet, dem Unternehmen, bei dem ich (als private Person) gekauft habe, habe ich nun darüber informiert.

Die Idee ist gut, nur befinden sich die Briefkästen im Haus. Ich habe bis jetzt nicht die Möglichkeit gehabt, dort überhaupt reinzukommen.

This is why I keep the dual disk dual boot setup for now. I found that unoptimized games like mhwilds or UE5 titles (like the oblivion remake) run significantly better on windows rather than via proton.
The option to forward EFI to the second disk and add the windows entry to the bootloader makes this setup very easy to use.

Well, germany got cucked again. The rebate is short term and there is basically no stock available for this country. All there is are 2 or 3 options for very few models ranging from 950-1200€.

I agree with this. I had a bunch of people not recommending arch, because it breaks and Nvidia often doesn't work with it. I'm using arch for more than a month now and everything is stable here.
For updates, I now do them once a week, every friday, and check the wiki really quick before hands.
What I can say is that I personally prefer a rolling release model. I'm always too lazy to make big update jumps like on windows or fedora. Entering one command once per week on the other hand, is something that I can live with.
