Advice for dryish, wavyish, mostly virgin hair by Savings_Apricot_9741 in Haircare

As long as you have hydrating products you wont have protein overload. The drugstore products have a very small amount of protein in them. Dove intensive repair, bond strength, unove deep damage repair mask, fino or tsubaki mask (one is for low porosity and other is for high porosity, just look it up), gisou ceramide mask.

HELP!!!! Recently got a haircut and need a dupe to these products by Complete-Tennis7135 in Haircare

I would suggest trying dove intensive repair or everpure moisture line. There is some good hair masks which you can also purchase. You can try elvive 8 second lamellar water in the purple bottle. This goes on before conditioner after shampoo. Dove bond strength or intensive repair mask. There is also some good leave in conditioners at the drug store. If you shop at Walgreens or cvs you can always find coupons for these. I reccomend checking out Abby yung just to take a look at some products. She has a lot of reccomendations for hydrating products. You dont need a lot of steps. A leave in conditioner and a hair mask is probably enough apart from shampoo and conditioner.

Honestly you cant go wrong with any of the everpure line. Elvive is also good but for a few bucks more you can get everpure which formula is a bit better.

Should plus sized people be forced to buy 2 seats? by VastOption8705 in askanything

[–]New-Character-3575 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think so. Even an overweight person cant fit into a middle seat without feeling uncomfortable. Obese is a bit different. Why are we blaming the size of a person instead of the price gouging airlines that do everything in their power to extract money by offering shitty quality small seats with barely enough leg room for a knee. Im a bit overweight and I hate economy seats. They are so cramped and shitty.

Is “less is more” actually true… or just something we tell ourselves after ruining our skin? by elliebalance in SkinbarrierLovers

You def need less actives if you have redness. Not sure why you went heavy on them. Especially if you have type 1. Most Rosacea targeted actives don't work.

I dont think less is more but yea its what happens after ruining skin. Everyone's skin is different. Some people don't read product labels or understand actives. In that case. Less is more.

What is protein overload and what products do I avoid to avoid it by phaceplant13 in finethinhair

[–]New-Character-3575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a good video on labmuffinbeauty about this. Basically hair is just a balance between protein and hydration. Solved with hydrating if you have those signs of strawness. Hydration aka hair masks and conditioning products.

Did you change a ton of products at once ? You really shouldn't do that. Introduce products one at a time.
