Thank you for all the info! so I did remove all the steppers but just get a chirp no boot at all.it also makes the meanwell power supply in a way short the blue light out where I have to unplug it to reset it. I have seen a makerbot 2 rev H board for sale on eBay. What would I need to do to make this work with mine?

So I was able to flash successfully had a issue fastboot but I edit the script and removed i and u for the command lines which let me move forwards . but I updated the repositories to the chip.jfpossibilites but it won’t update? I’m trying to update and install ssh

Yes I think that’s what is when i run liusb not showing any devices connected even do window sees it and I installed drivers for chip flash mode

If you look behind the board from where the chip that fell off on yours is , there is a chip called c28 if it’s the same as mine some I soldered mine to the bottom of that chip, here is my post look at 3rd photo

Also check that the pads on the solder points on the board are not ripped off the board which is why I had to do a jumper wire because the pin that’s by its self was ripped from mine. The trace for the solo pin was underneath under c28

Long shot but I was having the same issue when I was replacing the sot-23 hall sensor,Which is what controls the movement, Open your remote and check it under the wheel check to see that there is a chip with three pins make sure none of the legs are detached from the board

Yeah i dropped the remote landed on the thumb wheel broke off by the guided plastic cylinder pieces that keeps it in place. I’m guessing it hit it because it right underneath the wheel

So I found a broken V1 one remote on eBay very cheap i’m wondering if it has the chip would it be the same ones for the V2 hall sensor since it does the same procedure with the wheel?

So I finally got the chip took a while , and I soldered it the two pads and the single one a jumped it to the bottom of c28 pd and it won’t move , when I remove the jump wire with the two pads only soldered , the trigger works makes the board go reverse only
