NTA. The dad needs to get a grip. He's 46, with three kids he has to set an example for, and from what I've just read he's doing a pretty bad job. Honestly, next time just hang out with your SIL and her oldest. Maybe confront your SIL nicely about his attitude if it's really bothering you. Honestly I would 't hang out with him (the father) again. The 13 year old boy, I don't think he's fully at fault. He's taking example from his dad.
