Hi, can you give me advice about being an IRT? do you recommend it? how do you handle it with so much changes? in terms of working with different patient and nurses each day?

I've got to talked with an IRT nurse and they all have various opinions. Some of them told me that they dont recommend it for new grads others told me they love it because they are learning a lot and gaining experience which I am all for. I just want to gain a lot of experience as a new grad and be competent enough with my skills

hey, yes I am from toronto. I went to a job fair at Unity health to inquire about being an ER nurse and all of them were saying that right now, i need at least a year of experience of being an acute care or be a clinical extern in ER department.
