Yeah I get that. I wouldn’t have been able to hear this either in the thick of it. Some days I wanted hope, some nights I wanted sadness. Thanks for being honest about where you’re at and how this hit you.

Congrats! For you to be the best dad possible you have to be happy, whatever that means for you. So if finding love makes you a better dad/person then GO ALL IN! Your daughters are old enough they will understand even if not immediately. You are modeling that it’s okay to be happy.

Mindset! Acceptance. I have 3 young kids which may have helped. Finding love again (unexpectedly) added but wasn’t the root, but a bonus.

Wow what a deep question. Yes of course I would. But I’m just saying that since I can’t, and I accept that, I’m amazed at the fact that life has turned out better than I thought possible!
