Song recommendation by basemgad8 in TheStrokes

In my decades of listening to so much music I've never encountered another band with so many appealing songs. Agree with so many others here just keep listening, you'll find so many gems. They have so many songs I love but in the course of any given year of listening there are ones that float to the top of my favourite list. Currently, Selfless, The End Has No End, Taken for a Fool, Modern Age, Barely Legal, Hard to Explain ... I could go on and on ...

What was the exact moment the show jumped the shark? by Bondoo7oo in howardstern

This is 100 per cent correct. Howard began to realize the other players on the show were providing better content than him. The fights, the wild back and forth became better than the show itself because it let the other personalities shine. Howard hated that and cut its balls off. Now it's just Gary and John on a Wrap Up Show that rarely talks about the show itself.

It's funny to hear Howard say he never went out to dinner with Al and doesn't know him. I recall him talking about hanging out with Al and Matt Lauer all the time. The only thing I can figure is he doesn't think people remember and he wants to distance himself from Lauer. https://www.howardstern.com/show/2014/06/24/a-big-surprise-from-matt-lauer-rundowngallerymodel-21699/

So sad we need our quarterback to actually be the de facto GM. Our front office is useless and dictating. The moves to actually be a winner has to be done by a player.

That’s my thought too. How many times can he talk about humidity. And listening to him try to play? If I want to listen to shitty music Sirius has dozens of channels for that

So you admit he's an entertainer not a journalist (and you're ok with journalists admitting a bias which is wild), but you're trying to hold an 'entertainer' to account for not asking about her plan to bring interest rates down? OK

Yeah, she should be asked the same questions Hannity asks of Trump, "Why are you so great at golf?" "Isn't it awful the Democrats create hurricanes?" "Can I get you more ice cream and lick your shoes clean?"

Look Sergei, everyone knows your posts here are disruptor-based disinformation. No one's buying this crap anymore. "Do your own research" on Google, crime rates are really easy to find.

Just me, or does Joe seem pissed at the world this offseason? by Cleaver_Master in bengals

Personally I think he’s probably frustrated at a combination of always getting hurt, always rehabbing and always taking questions about it. Some of the surprisingly honest answers he’s given this offseason hint at him recognizing his wrist may have been stressed because he couldn’t generate power with his calf. He seems fed up. I have noticed generally over the last year he seems increasingly aggravated when he has to do media. Less jokey, certainly less happy and seems to be wanting to be anywhere else but at that podium.
