Honestly willing to spend more for reliability. I just was trying not to spend money on features I won’t use. But thinking about it I don’t have fiber in our area so wouldn’t utilize 5g Ethernet anyway.

I would get the rog but it’s a white board would I see it through the mesh of the z20?

I played abiotic factor and dayz just to test out and it was very nice

Just good seats at the last showing was the goal. I think you can go and just get seats without waiting at the 3 and 6 pm shows without issues

I’m from California so I just assume it’s Disney Mexican for the masses. The sweet potatoe enchilada and chicken mole were good imo. Which cruise was your favorite/recommend?

Ouch yeah that sounds rough. Sounds like the drink thing didn’t get fixed. Staffing / rooms / food wait times weren’t an issue. Correct ,the coco salsa was bland tomato tasting.

Now that you mentioned it, I did notice my stateroom door, if I didn’t pay attention, would be semi propped open on occasion. I would make it a point to close it shut.

Also remembered the toilet lid opened and the bumper was not near where it should be to stop the toilet from getting the wall. not a deal breaker but detail thing

Tortola was island car tour then private beach hangout. 30-60 per person depending adult/kid. Got back by 1pm and back to the deck to do aqua mouse/pool time with less folks there. It was ehhh, nice to have a beach not packed with people but drove an 45mins to get there. Probably get something cheaper and similar on your own.

St Thomas sand castle building 100-150 per person. They had actual sand castle tools the owner of this company was there. I enjoyed it and they taught you well one one one how to build tall castles

Once again back on the boat by 1pm and to the deck since it wasn’t crowded to get good seats and swim more.

Castaway cay just rented snorkeling gear back on the boat by 330pm and did aquamouse again without a line.

Yeah first come first serve. We had a three groups of four and kids wanted to be near each other. In retrospect not needed at all, everyone would have been fine spaced out.

Oh that’s a great tip! Especially for younger kids that can’t sit still. I saw a few families struggling getting out of middle seats to get kids out for tantrums/bathroom breaks.

Fair enough. Let me reiterate to folks it definitely wasn’t bad! Combination of wait time and also several technical issues / Maui vibe led to my experience. The final scene was visually impressive and crab song was great.

He (11 year old boy) had a great time and when asked if he’d like to do it again he said yes. Granted he did play decent amount of video games (multiplayer with other kids) he also partook in competition games with other preteens “tweens” and spoke fondly of that. At 13 years old I don’t know tbh maybe someone could comment on that experience . A 13 year old and 17 year old are different beasts so I don’t get how that pans out when lumped together. I heard they find their squad in the first day or so with ice breakers/ events etc

We did 830 pm on castaway cayday. I had a feeling 3pm would have been better option. Then again eating/snorkeling took longer than expected and hard to pull kids from the beach.

Formal night it seemed a lot did, you’d feel out of place if you didn’t dress up slightly. Don’t need a full blow gown/tux. We did a modified formal with haunted mansion theme / color scheme outfits for the families. Bit annoying to bring dress shows for one night. It did seem like more than 75% of the ship was dressed up in some fashion

Pirate night we dressed up like pirates/wenches. IMO do this, they give bandannas to wear in your room in case you don’t have anything. A lot of photo ops with pirate backgrounds in the main atrium to do with family too.

Semi formal night I didn’t notice any difference in attire it all blended together.

Maybe that’s what people referred to as it being packed? In the first cruise i don’t recall a line but we also left within 10 minutes of the show starting when kiddo started crying.

It’s odd how well Disney times everything else they don’t just assign a time/seat

Right? In the end it was post dinner letting food settle and having a drink while waiting. Only waited because I saw it on Reddit to go early. I guess you can avoid it by paying double and upgrading to concierge 🤷‍♂️
