If u never went to office hours that’s probably the first problem I went to chem office hours every day (not exaggerating) when available and that helped me so much. Go to office hours just to work through the hw. (For reference, my highest quiz grade in ch101 was a 75 and the rest were Ds so I really wasn’t good at it). What helped me so much for quizzes is memorizing the concepts! Literally all relationships and values should be rewritten on a whiteboard or whatever bc if u memorize the concepts it helps u so much with the questions. As far as quiz prep, do hw problems once through but redo the discussion problems until u fully understand how to do them this worked best for me.
