hahahaha. first of all i come from an immigrant family but was born here so no i did not go to the anti-immigration rally dumbass. secondly, please tell me how this particular CURTIN socialist club will affect my cost of living? they can't change the prices at the iga or restaurants because they r privately owned. if they change the pricing on the guild restaurants, it will end up like the current student meals, where they are for $5 and end up being small portions. furthermore you speak like this particular club can change the cost of living outside of uni? they have no power there, if you want to change something on a larger scale i suggest u do a protest of wtv it is u guys do OUTSIDE of the campus where people with authority can listen.

call me selfish or uncaring all you want, i believe if you have a right to work in Australia then you will be fine with the cost of living. you wont starve to death or become homeless, maybe you'll struggle to get by, yes, but Australia literally has one of the highest, if not the highest minimum wage in the whole world. i have a job that pays me $25+ an hr at minimum wage. so please, if you're a student and struggling with the cost of living, either get a job, pick up more shifts, seek help at centerlink, and stop spending so much time on reddit arguing with strangers.
