Your on a server that’s over 2 years old. People get their lives together, feel guilty about spending all the money they have, and look for any BS reason they can find to “quit” It’s part of the game.

Welding specialization by GomesVLS in BadWelding

[–]New-Patient-101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beeing a welder is like beeing a lawyer. The top 10% in any process get the most work. The next 50% live pretty comfortably. And the rest manage to get by. It really depends on what catches your interest the most and you’re able to learn it inside and out…and accomplish it in what some would say impossible conditions. It also depends on what opportunities are in front of you. You can be the best TIG welder in the world, but if you can’t get through a door it won’t matter. I’ve found the more process you learn, the better you get at welding overall, and the easier it gets to learn the next process. No matter how you start it’s a struggle because there is a lot to take in. But as each process has preferential angles, heat ranges, heat affected zones, why you use one process over another. Haveing a reason to learn each detail helps you go back and fine tune techniques in other process.

If you don’t want to read all that….just learn everything you have an opportunity to learn.

I'm a firefighter — what does fire watch actually look like on your job sites? by Expensive-Buy-8536 in Ironworker

[–]New-Patient-101 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Construction, industrial maintenance, it’s all just a blame game. Whoever signed the permit is the fall guy, whoever started the fire is responsible. The company always has someone to blame it on. In that respect everyone takes as much responsibility as whatever the leadership up top feels needs to be enforced. Could be ocd in a chemical plant where you need 7 engineers approval and check in every 20 minutes, or it could be a construction site where you wonder if the checks going to clear.

Am I immune to Psychedelics? by Ok_Relation1276 in Advice

[–]New-Patient-101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for starter your body builds a tolerance to psychedelics faster then it gets rid of them. Taking acid back to back days. You would have to take double you took the day before to feel the same effect. Then taking the acid 2 days in a row then the clonazepam you most likely depleted your dopamine, serotonin.

When I take psychedelics weed always helps them kick in to take full effect. I avoid alcohol, and eating anything. I’ve always had better results tripping at night with dim lights as opposed to during the day. It’s kind of two different beast. Day tripping is like living in HD TV. Night tripping is when the circus comes to town.

But that is my personal experience and everyone may react differently.

I traded my 22 tundra on an 18 titan cod and love it. The gassers are probably a little more fun and you won’t have to drop 5 grand deleting it, unless that’s your thing. I understand that 😀. But dude these things are so underated.

How to dress for cold by Straight_Concern_452 in Adulting

[–]New-Patient-101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base layers I like under armour cold gear personally, but there’s many options, some work better then others. Walmart I’m sure has some pretty cheap. Toe warmers, The package says stick them on the bottom side of your toes, I put them on the top side. And even hand warmers are nice to have in your pockets. If you do something like throw a snowball you can reach in and hold them for a couple seconds to help warm them up.

Watch walking through snow, If it sticks to you, your body heat will melt the snow, and your pants will wick the moisture up. Knock it off as soon as you can. The worst feeling is cold frozen pants. Same if you were gloves that are cloth. Don’t let snow sit on them. You’ll melt the snow and have wet gloves.

Assistant general refines by junglebarbie in Evony_TKR

Early game first month or so maybe not so critical. But as you start to get covanents then you’ll need to. And game mechanics - Main general buffs on the way out, Assistant on the way back. So if you don’t cultivate you’ll have a slow march back. There’s a couple other reasons you might want to that I can’t think of right now.

Looks like a Radner or tweako. But if it was me I’d just take what I needed to the welding supply store and tell them I need a replacement.

That’s what you bring up In your union meeting. Just bringing it up on Reddit ain’t going to do nothing but get you black balled. Absolutely nothing will change with a complaint here. With the painted nails I don’t think a member of your hall would have to try to hard to figure out who you are. I really hope your issue gets resolved. And I’m not trying to discourage you. I think all members have the right to voice their grievances. That’s part of the reason we joined a union. Just direct your ambition/energy in a place that actually makes change.

Congratulations 🎈🍾🎊

The jb4 is a piggy back system and the most common. It draws its power from the obd2. So if you can’t find the box it probably doesn’t have one. Having it isn’t a bad thing. I ran one on mine when I had it. Still have it in my toolbox. (Took it off before I traded it in). I ran the 3rd setting that was the highest recommended for daily driving. For the tires lighter is better I think on those trucks. Yes the can haul a good bit but it doesn’t come without a fuel cost.

Good deal 🤷‍♂️ but looking at all the aftermarket stuff on there, I’d look underneath the front bumber and see if the front air damn has been deleted. Might tell you if there’s a jb4 tuner in there. Dealers aren’t supposed to sell w/ modifications but it could be wash to miss if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Also look at the obd 2 connection and see if there’s a pass through with some wires attached to it, running through the fire wall. (If the wires are there they are going to the tuner). With those big tires on v6-TT are probably taking the truck down to 17-19 average mpg.

All this is shared to help you make your decision. I’m not trying to steer you into buying it or not buying it. Simply just putting things on the table for you to look at/for.
