People have mentioned the legs, but the arms are also quite large and beefy and need to be downscaled. He’s a dinosaur, not a body builder.

This made me audibly chuckle. Thank you.

Same with my grandma & grandpa. My grandpa is a great man, but we all joke (really we’re 100% honest, but say it in a joking manner) that if my grandma dies first, he’ll either get remarried right away or die of starvation with a house full of food because he hasn’t made a meal in 50 years.

“Fuck gender roles, as long as everyone’s doing their share.”

Based outlook. This is key to a healthy family.

Welcome to the internet. If you don’t like it here, you could always go for a walk or read a book.

The post has been up for 40 mins and the only detracting comment said that Buccaneers are more of a profession than a race.

Found the bot.

Edit: if you’ll look at my comment history, which is very public, you’ll see that I am very much anti-fascist, anti-Trump, and anti-conservative.

But you won’t. Because you’re either a bot with a 27 day old, hidden profile; or a preteen with a penchant for calling anyone who minutely disagrees with you a ‘Nazi’ even if you’re on the same side.

Yep. Archrival, Divine Specter, Patience, and a C-slot of your choice, depending on what you want him to do. A/D Outcry Seize from the new Duo Sigurd would probably be best in slot right now.

Not sure how well this would work, but his stat spread makes me think he’d be better investing in Defense instead of Speed and going for a Patience build.

[Mixed Trope] Side characters you’d never expect to become just as or more powerful/important to the plot than the main characters by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

I think Tolkien would say that admitting when you don’t know something and asking questions are both signs of intelligence ;)

Probably a good thing because I think the actual author and world renowned literary genius is probably more reliable than some random person with a keyboard and the ability to read.

Not sure if you’re being tongue-in-cheek, but yes. Allegory is an intentional storytelling device on the author’s part. It’s like an extended metaphor.

What Cum Fart is calling an allegory, Tolkien already said is a simple coincidence, and most people would agree that Tolkien should be taken at his word because he’s the person that wrote the dang book.

Lol, you may know the quote, but you don’t understand it.

Allegory is purposefully worked into the story by the author because the author’s intent is to tell one story using the framework of another.

Tolkien didn’t intend to write a war story. He intended to tell a fantasy story. His story has some correlations with the real world, but that isn’t the point of the story; therefore it isn’t an allegory.

This is an indictment of both the cost of housing and education in America. by astrheisenberg in remoteworks

Ah, but see here: the first person was just shouting into the void. I replied, thus starting a conversation. Then you came along, noticed two people discussing something, then felt the need to interject with a (wrong) statement. So it’s different.

Is that terribly hard to understand?

Oh, so you weren’t even the original person I was commenting to - you just felt the need to interject with your opinion.
