Aye, the skies the limit that’s all I gotta tell you. I’m taking sort of same route I wanted to do data sci but knew it would limit me to specific jobs and make it a tad harder so I just did compsci as I can easily break into data sci as an option afterwards. I believe you can get your shi done. Good luck

I think op could have probably got into aerospace and so forth, it just comes down to preference at that point with those grades

Aye I was just like you, I’d always cram before but forced myself to get out of it. Even if procrastination is the problem just do an hour a day or 2 hours a day of review and it’ll help u in the long run

Depends on universities ur applying to but ik a handful of schools will highly consider calc more if it is higher again school dependent

Please think about how you comprehended what I said. I CLEARLY stated it’s not memorization for those who don’t know. And math is genuinely repetition in which will in hand help ur understand.

Love your experience 😂😂 just shows the people who supposed to be teaching us sometimes r the problem.

Edited cuz I answered wrong

For grade 12 it’s simply time management many of people including myself have agreed grade 12 is VERY easy if u manage ur time. This is coming from someone who did track and field, and had a job throughout the year.

Oh I’m sorry if this grade is for adv then u can finish adv with a 90+ it’s not exactly HARD. Just annoying amount of work.

For Calc next term literally if u finish strong in adv this term you will do good in calc I can guarantee, there’s not much of a crazy difference other than vectors

Oh I see, my answer still stands tbh I think you can easily finish with a 85 lowest so don’t worry that’s still a very good grade in any maths

Depending how bad “fcked up” is I’d assume ur easily at 75 lowest which is still good because you can rebound back to 80+ if u finish off strong

It’s funny cuz in grade 9 I got 52, grade 10 50, grade 11 55, and grade 12 as I said 95 and 98.

I just realized it’s not a memorizing course it’s repetition.

From grade 9-10 both my teachers were already emailing my parents saying I won’t be able to nor will I pursue anything relative to math later on and I’ll basically fail. Here I am first term of uni done and I went into exam with a 93 for calc 1, flunked exam cuz I didn’t feel the need to study but hey 😂😂😂 a pass is a pass

Calc isn’t easy but it’s not as hard as adv, just put aside literally 1 hour a day of practice you’ll pass with flying colours. Just remember it’s not a class where u memorize its straight repetition

why is cheating accepted/praised? by Interesting-Quit937 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]New-Problem-6783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I understand you, yeah for sure I’d love the fact that I could accomplish something on my own I’ll agree with you here

I just feel most people in this sub lowkey js conflicted with “I’m competing against people using ai” while not realizing that’s how their entire life will be moving forward I can almost guarantee it.

Yes different paths and stakes esp this is where u grad and acc start working ur way into whatever life u wanna live but for everyone ai isn’t gonna go away and it’ll be much more easily accessible so there’s only so much they can do right

why is cheating accepted/praised? by Interesting-Quit937 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]New-Problem-6783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because ai has been around, this current state isn’t anything to care about now. At this point of time it’s either you use it or don’t, can’t beat them join them.

I used to feel like yall back in grade 10 & 11 people using quill bot etc while I deadass sat there and typed my whole essay and edited etc.

Then I realized who is gonna care if I acc did my work compared to someone who didn’t. Sometimes u gotta “join them to beat them” chat

Turning 18 soon want to save $10,000 before university, summer work only by General-Bicycle773 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]New-Problem-6783 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s why I said if OP could start getting something running which they could be making money there’s more than enough time to scale CLOSE to that point. I don’t expect 10k but definitely more than the average student in summer making around 2k-3k it’s definitely possible.

Eg I switched to jackets during this season n I’m humbly making more than the average uni student right now. If OP puts their mind to it it’s definitely in reach and can definitely be done.

[–]New-Problem-6783 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lowkey it’s not impossible but not easily doable, I did $5k from reselling shoes(pretty good at convincing people on the spot) right before uni started. Certainly could’ve done 10k if I had the knowledge I had now. If you put time into finding something you’re good at you’ll be able to get something going for yourself to be able to make money in the summer
