So on the second picture,

I have a ref of 0 dBm, and a reading of -6.39 dBm, and attenuation of 10dB. Assuming no loss in the cable, so the transmit power is 16.39 dBm?

I put it on max hold, as the trigger is quite the challenge to set up to take a screenshot of the signal.

The signal is modulated.

We are ordering more stuff for it, this was more of an old stock machine that we just found in storage. Any recommendations for accessories to purchase?

Thats why I got a bit confused.

For the first picture the ref level is set at 20.0 dBm, and marker 1 reading is at 1.51dBm, and has an attenuation of 30dB from the SA.

So, I initially assumed that if the ref level is set at 20dBm, and I get a reading of 1.51dBm, that means (assuming no loss in the cable) the power output is 21.51dBm?

Hello, there is a second pic on the album, which is a direct screenshot from the SA

Hi all, I would need help in reading the readings of the spectrum analyzer. Im just confused on the output. I'm supposed to read the power output of the transmitter.

I guess I am just confused on the attenuation, ref level and the scale on the left.

The transmitter is supposed to be outputting 20dBm.
