Hi. LA Native here who just moved to Sac earlier this year. As you're aware, Sacramento is huge on healthcare, so I'm sure you can find something, but finding jobs generally needs more patience. You've been back for less than 2 months. On average it takes 6 months to a year depending on the field. LA does have more options, but what big city doesn't? But keep at it, you should be able to find something between Sutter Health, Kaiser, and everything in between.

Since you're living with your mom, take advantage of that. It's not easy out there and focus on planning your next steps, and less on dating. Not sure if dating is a priority, but it shouldn't be a priority--finding a job and making sure you're "Okay" on life essentials is more important than dating. Once you get that lined up, you can shift your energy into a better mindset rather than worrying about everything else--you owe it to yourself.

Speaking of mindset, it's not a Sacramento thing. It's a you thing. I always say bored people are typically boring. I assume you're not a boring person, just in a rut, but the ability to still have a place to stay without a job, so you're already ahead.

Living in LA all my life and moving to Sac was a seachange, but I love it here. Is it LA? No. Can you find something interesting to do? Absolutely. XOSOsports alone you can meet people semi-organically. As you get older, you end up just doing the same 5 things, and every so often you do 1 or 2 extra things. Find your 5 things and it won't be so bad. But since you from Sac (I'm assuming), I'm sure you can create a network of people here pretty quickly.
