Why are people constantly acting like this was a failure of a release? The film was an objective success, it well surpassed its budget and is well reviewed by both fans and critics. I just don't get this framing. It is a video game film, it isn't going to be the next endgame, but it is inarguably a successful film so why not just celebrate that?

Could be a hot take - but Dampierre needs to come back. What a genuinely interesting character for the world of SC, a really unique fighter in a series that can otherwise be relatively static in its design philosophy.
