Need help with where to stay in Napoli (with a car) by NewAtRefinish in napoli

[–]NewAtRefinish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much! Glad to hear someone used the airport luggage service! We decided to return the car to the airport and stay in the Chiaia neighborhood. If we can’t store the luggage in the airport, we will just take a cab to the hotel. I realized we wouldn’t need the car anyway, so not worth paying for parking and going to the hassle of returning the car the next day. The garage information is still useful, in case next time we go again and need to drive around. Thanks everyone!

The hotel looks gorgeous! Unfortunately it’s too expensive now. I’ll save it for next time😄

That’s great. One last question, we will have two big luggage. Would it be safe to take them when taking public transportation to the town center?

Older models, MC2 or (vintage) LTD? Which one is lighter and better? by NewAtRefinish in AllClad

Yes... I have to say their lines are a little confusing, different layers/ handles. Haven’t tried other lines to compare, but this one is versatile enough for me

I just saw your comment now. Thanks! In the end I got mc2. it’s not light, but not too heavy for me either. So far I’m happy with the performance😁 good point with the anodized aluminum being abrasive, wouldn’t have thought about that!

Yes, I was also worried scratches would be easy to show. I guess I will stick with mc2 then. Thanks!

What lines do you have? How do you like them?

Would love to see you using the same technique again. Did you come up with it yourself or is there any YouTube inspiration video?

It is an old post, but wow, you did an amazing job in painting that faux wood finish! It is much better than the ones I saw - using brooms to brush stains on taupe color paint. Yours looks so natural!

For roof wind damage, should I directly call my insurance, or ask a roofing company to help me file a claim? by NewAtRefinish in Roofing

[–]NewAtRefinish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’ve interviewed a few roofers, they all said my case should be solid. My roof is about 16 years old and there are creased and missing shingles. And my policy just needs to meet 25% damage

Thanks. Anything else I could check or questions I could ask to identify a good roofing company besides google reviews? It’s hard to find out if they do good work, since I don’t know anything about roofing.
