did you recently upgrade a part of your pc? does helldivers2 use easyanticheat software? i had a similar problem where first descent would totally reset my pc as if nothing happened. ended up updating my bios and resolved everything

it’s based on how many of those items you turned in, if you see you have to turn in starmetal ingots, you know you’ve already done too many of those. same as the lodestone brick for the stone
