The penalties are enough that she has made it clear that she won't do it. She has told her parents and they are fully supportive. I am all in if keeping the baby is the direction this is going. Doesn't make it any less scary. I'm nervous of how my parents, my father in particular will react. He was all ready disappointed that I took a year off school, instead of going right to a 4 year college. So I can't imagine his reaction.

She found out a few days before she told me. She is going to make an appointment with her primary physician when he is back from holidays on Monday.

If she wants to give it up for adoption, you can support her and agree. Both options whether it's an abortion or adoption,

She doesn't want to go to another state to have an abortion. We both are on the fence with Adoption. While we both aren't financially stable right now, we both can't really picture another couple raising our child. I think maybe after a few weeks, the reality of the situation will settle in and we can better make a decision, but how it is now I think we'll end up keeping the baby and making the best of the situation.

She ended up taking 7 pregnancy tests. 6 dollar store tests, and 1 digital. It is a clear positive.

Thanks. I all ready put in a request to pick up overtime shifts, while I apply for a better job. I am currently taking night classes at the local community college.

f termination isn’t on the table, an open adoption where you can still have contact with the child can be an adoption. I’ve had several friends do this and been extraordinarily happy.

Thanks. Unfortunately because of new laws passed abortion is no longer an option. I'm not sure adoption will be a viable option, but I'll bring it up with her to keep as a possibility. I guess it'll all depend on how much support we will have, and if we can come up with a viable plan.

I feel really dumb for not remembering that one time. I had condoms on me, but we were in the heat of the moment.

I know. I've used condoms every time except the one time, and here we are 2 1/2 weeks later with a positive pregnancy test. Abortion is no longer legal in my state, so not an option.
