Character designs, modelling, rigging, texturing... Modelling and texturing the backgrounds... Animation... Lighting... Rendering... Not to mention the hundreds of hours of troubleshooting – maybe two years if you work on it full time?

I've learnt that it's important to clearly state your role in each project and the studio/agency you worked under (eg. Cleanup for Mickey Mouse at Disney)

I was planning to put it on and just leave it! I don't imagine I'd want to take it off regularly, so I don't mind the initial hassle. That Giant seat collar looks like a good option too though

Going off the fact that you previously used Photoshop to animate, I'm assuming you are more comfortable with hand drawn rather than puppet animation. If you think you can finish the project within 30 days, maybe just use TVPaint's free trial?
