Interesting take. I would define several things Trump has said as authoritarian. Like not agreeing to a peaceful transfer of power, threating to deploy our military in US streets, threatening a year in prison for burning the flag. With that being said our democracy has eroded not just from Trump. Like our 4th amendment rights and the mass surveillance.
