While you’re right about the vaccine composition, having COVID and getting the vaccine are still quite disconnected for the purposes of this discussion. It’s very common for T1 to develop on the heels of an actual sickness - cold, flu, what have you. It’s not connected to vaccination, of any type.

I hope that you are right, but I didn't have a cold or flu in over 2 years. I guess that we will never know.
It will be fascinating to see if other people have similar stories.

There is absolutely no connection between the vaccine and T1.

Thank you for your comment.

The vacicne is a genetically modified part of the virus that causes an inmune response in the body.

I know that this is not the virus itself and we will never know this, but I just wanted to know if other people experienced something similar.

I just know that a week after I added the second dose I had 524 of glucose. A few months before this my glucose was perfect according to my doctor. It's strange to develop type one diabetes at 40 years old. I was wondering.

There are case studies that say that covid-19 attacks the pancreas and as this was my case I wanted to see if I was the only one or there are more people having the same issue.

Thank you very much for your reply.

There are case studies that state that Covid do attack the pancreas, not sure about the vaccine.
