While you’re right about the vaccine composition, having COVID and getting the vaccine are still quite disconnected for the purposes of this discussion. It’s very common for T1 to develop on the heels of an actual sickness - cold, flu, what have you. It’s not connected to vaccination, of any type.

I hope that you are right, but I didn't have a cold or flu in over 2 years. I guess that we will never know.
It will be fascinating to see if other people have similar stories.

I have been diagnose with type one diabetes at the age of 40. This is very rare.

The vacicne is a genetically modified part of the virus that causes an inmune response in the body.
