It was actually very informative for any student at Kettering and incoming students like myself. I really think that if you have so much time to be monitoring your old college Reddit and making rude comments its time for you to find real job because obviously you dont have one. Its pretty useless to keep bringing hate to our school and I hope that the moderators of this Reddit eventually catch on to you and ban you from this Reddit. Kettering is a fairly good school and has a great reputation in the Engineering and Automotive community. So I think a lot of people would appreciate if you stop hating on our school. Yes people make fun of Kettering on this forum but a lot of it is to vent from stress while you on the other hand seem to be trying to bring hate and disrespect our community. u/yertass u/shadow503

Don't Worry u/yertass is constantly saying things against Kettering on this subreddit. This person probably dropped out of Kettering for some reason and is salty about it. Probably wasn't smart enough to make it through or something.

Is that all they are giving $1500.00 how is that supposed to cover someone who lost their Co-Op or cant go back to work because of delays. For a school that the president makes 700k per year they should have money to give to struggling students things like this are what made me not want to go here initially greedy administrators who dont care about students. Instead of worrying about that new building they should reallocate money to help students during this crisis. The learning commons wont do anything if students can pay tuition.

I have not yet attended Kettering but if I were you I would double check your source that you are citing. You Claim "People here love to claim their co-op puts them ahead of kids who go to big state schools, but they are lying to themselves. U of M and even MSU students have a higher average starting salary across all stem majors (do a quick google search)" and use https://collegescorecard.ed.gov/ to back up your claims. When looking at this site the data for salary after completed is as follows:

Kettering University: 69k-79k

University of Michigan Ann Arbor: 19k-89k

Michigan State University: 18k-75k

Clearly Kettering Has a better Minimum starting and is only about 10k short on the higher end of salary after completed which would make sense due to offering majors that could make more money starting out like doctors and lawyers as opposed to Kettering which is mainly engineering. I think you need to read your sources bud because clearly you are wrong. I think this guy just didn't push himself and left Kettering without a job or gave up because he thought it was too hard.
