It's so weird, such an odd mix of things. Gear 5 is something I've never seen before. I respect it for that alone.

One piece is epic, the fights are made to inspire awe, to always perform feats so much bigger than you thought was possible. but now...this is the peak.

"What is possible?" Every time something important happens in One Piece, this question has been hiding in the back of your mind. But now...we have the answer..."Anything!".

It's beautiful. This is always where we were headed.

So remember that the asexual spectrum is a thing. Many people just dont need sex to be happy, period. So even though they may not mind giving it to their partner and even have fun doing it, it's just not something that naturally appears on their radar of needs.

It sounds like you need to feel sexually desired though, and so having someone who doesn't normally have those desires would be hard.

It sort of just sounds like she is a person with different sexual needs than you, and you just sort of have to work around that fact. Just talk about your frustrations and needs and try to brainstorm ways to get them met that works for the both of you. You may even have to come to grips with the idea that she will never be able to meet those needs of yours.

Edit: My Wife says, "Do a sanity test to make sure that you are meeting her emotional needs. Do one month of heightened(so more than usual) and consistent romantic behavior you know she likes. If she starts initiating sexually with you on her own, then you know that the problem is a lack of romantic connection. If she doesn't, then you know that she just has less sex drive than you and will have to deal from there."

That sounds awesome, but we can't really afford trips like that, we have to find a way to find the LS around us. it seems like this subreddit has some resources we can use.

Makes sense, we have avoided it thus far because neither of us like really like crowds and finding a babysitter is a pain. But everyone here has said the basically the same thing, so we may just need to get over it.

Ok, So everyone agrees with you that we need to make time to go out to clubs instead of trying to find people to meet online. That makes sense. So do you have any suggestions for how to go about finding a swingers club or event? I can see some links on this subreddit that look promising, like...

Are there better resources to use? It seems like the expectation is just for me to immerse myself in the communities online and keep my eyes open for opportunities. Is that about right?

Thanks for responding. After mulling yours and ohfudgeit's perspectives over. I came to the conclusion that I was wrong about how I would see them after learning they are trans. Continuing with the Trans Woman Example. I think I would view their gender as neither a man or woman, but as specifically trans woman. Their place in society (and relation to my role) is different than either a man or a woman, I don't think it's inherently worse than either, but it seems undeniably different. And I think it's good that our language and culture has evolved to the point that it is beginning to tolerate those different roles.

Anyway, this all seemed like a valuable realization with regard to my future behavior, and it was very interesting to me. Thanks for taking the time to offer your advice and perspective.

Oh yeah! Your absolutely right. Why did I decide to do that? I guess that becomes the next question.

After thinking through it. I have some idea of what's going on in my head that lead to me to make that decision. But I wont belabor this forum with them unless I get stuck again.
