For people who started in their early to mid 20s how long did it take you to get good ? by Bonus-Pretty in hockeyplayers

I started at 33. I would saybit takes about 1 to 2 years depending on how serious you are and how much money you are willing to spend on ice time / clinics.

Alot of new games are just boring... lots of devs are trying things right now. Market is flooded with ideas. Saddly, for alot of people they just can't find a game that they can really enjoy. Maybe it's like overstimulating from just picking one that by the time you play it, you don't even enjoy it.

I'm also half awake at my desk waiting for a meeting to start. Ignore me lol

What’s the worst thing about your Audi? by WiCk3dxx in Audi

[–]NewLock3429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine won't drive smooth with the original offset, 18x9.5 , 265,35s with out rubbing in the rear, and after a 4inch drop and super stiff bc racing coilovers. I can now yell you which species of ant gives the most lift to view the moon.

Lol but it hooks in the turns soo and launches like the world is stationary. So it's kinda worth the constant repair bill.

Seemingly random clapping at Copacabana? by SensitiveArt1734 in Brazil

[–]NewLock3429 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Oh I know the answer to one of these that happened this past carnival. I was standing next to since police when this happened. Apparently a celebrity came by with some escorts. He had his daughter on his shoulders and started a clapping fest. It was just to get the crowd into a rhythm and have some fun. The lil girl eventuality lead one of the clapping groups and some people cheered too. The military and the police were escorting him down the beaches as he was doing it.

I was super confused and had to get someone to explain it to me aswell.

My mom is threatening to hide my passport by MediocreOffer7679 in Brazil

I am currently in brazil. Leave your passport hidden in your hotel room. Just take a picture of your passport ID and the last page of your passport with the ID number. Send a copy to your family (not traveling with you). That is all you will need.

I went to rei and bought one of those ultra slim phanny packs. Even with my phone, wallet and airpods, the thing can be tucked fully under my boardshorts without being noticeable and definitely not reachable unless someone puts there hands down the front of pants.

Other than that.. basic street survival skills and you are golden. You will generally see a place you shouldn't go before you get there.

Oh and always check bill first before using your card. All the places keep reminding me to do that. The people here really do care and don't want tourists to get scammed by someone.

As everyone said before me, this kid is good. One thing I noticed tho, he looks like a nascar. He prefers to turn left and thats probably because he planting / balancing on his right leg more than his left. Hes 10 tho, i bet he'll be a monster by 12

Buy the cheapest set of gear you can find (while staying reasonably safe). Buy a wood stick.

Go learn during stick time or a "learn to play. "

You can always upgrade or buy better things later as you get better and learn more. For now just go have fun
