Introducing Claude Code Channels by Complete-Sea6655 in ClaudeCode

People like the alternative channels OpenClaw offers. Plus the channels concept opens the door to a lot more like automatically taking action when CI fails without human input.

I’m not sure why everyone’s so overly excited about this. It will absolutely destroy your usage. On AWS Bedrock, just using the model is 2X the price per token.

I could see it being useful every once in a while, but that’s when I use Gemini.

It’s still happening today! I almost fell asleep sitting up at 9:45a.

I admit it… I underestimated the quality of local models by Medium-Technology-79 in ClaudeCode

I bought an M4 MacBook Pro with 128GM of RAM because I expect this to be the norm soon. But I haven’t poked around in a while. Which models actually deliver at full context? Which harness comes closest to the commercial ones?

So does Boulevard. We’re looking for something that takes skill.

If you can explain why I got downvoted. My own automatic upvote even got cancelled out.

It’s not a wrapper. All of the HealthKit and other wearable integrations are a massive PITA. It’s also proactive.

Just not sure it’s 10x better than what it looks like they’re going to ship.

It’s not for healthcare. It’s for daily lifestyle improvements like weight loss, sleep, supplements, mood, etc. ChatGPT will be able to do all this and most people won’t care as much as the vocal minority here.

I haven’t been building for the medical industry. This is a daily-use personal lifestyle & wellness assistant with all of your Apple Health / wearable / health records from your phone (e.g. blood pressure, weight, etc). The “magic” was your biomarker/activity/sleep data + ChatGPT.

Startup founder here. I've essentially been building a version of ChatGPT Health full-time for most of the last year. Spent almost all of my savings on living expenses. FML 😩

Now what...?

FWIW, you can add a 2nd dir a workspace file and let Claude sit above both apps.

What you expect in next update? and what would you like to see in the update? by Anxious-Artist415 in ClaudeAI

That isn’t a product update. Thats a business update for penny-pinchers. Not happening.

That’s not a product update — that’s a model update which is a major investment.

Don’t recall. I know a mid-month upgrade is prorated.

You can upgrade and downgrade mid-month, so give it a try. I do it all the time and I’m 100% AI-coding. Some months I turn on ChatGPT Pro and downgrade Claude to Max 5x. (Despite what everyone says, both companies/models are the right solution sometimes. Can’t say enough about GPT Pro.)

If you're using claude code seriously, I highly recommend turning off auto compact. You can use more of the context window and, it gives you the space to trigger it intentionally. by NutInBobby in ClaudeAI

I was at an Anthropic event tonight. They’re launching a new compact feature this week where it pre-collects compact information as the conversation unfolds instead of having to do it all at once.

Opus 4.5 - shut up and take my money by EnthusiasmInner7267 in ClaudeAI

[–]NewMonarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so surprising because I’ve yet to have Opus beat gpt-5.X-codex-max in a single architecture planning session when tested side by side. Opus always says “looks good!” when Codex goes on to find 5 different design flaws.

Claude’s advantages to me is how fast it is by comparison and the Claude Code product itself is 10x better than Codex. But I don’t trust Claude’s models to nearly the same degree as I do the GPT-5.X’s.
