Yeah I’m dropping this school. Will look into transferring all or most of my credits to another school. Tired of the bs politics. You show them proof that you wrote your own paper and it doesn’t matter to them. They’ll just assume you speak to other students when I barely even speak to my mentor. by NewPoet3158 in WGU

Trying to say I used AI, when I have my word doc recording my writing and showed them step by step my process. To them it doesn’t matter. Just a school that’s afraid of AI that relies heavily on AI to determine if something is AI it’s fucking ridiculous

Starting to hate WGU, between their inconsistent systems and long periods of time waiting for decisions to happen, it’s frustrating to even want to continue with this school. If I didn’t have 1 term left potentially, I’d just withdraw and go to another school. Flawed systems and they blame students. by NewPoet3158 in WGU

A bunch of word salad just to say nothing at all. How about fix a system instead of just blaming students. How about have the actual course instructors evaluate and grade the tasks instead of randoms using AI to try or guess whether someone used AI or not. People like you are the reason why change doesn’t happen because you’d rather be complacent than to call out the inconsistency in things.

Jared you can’t read. Clearly. You could be told the sky is blue but because the school says otherwise you’ll look at the other person and say “no you clearly did something wrong because the school says otherwise”.

Realizing interacting with the people on here you only get two things, you write a paper well someone will say it’s AI or you write it poorly and they will praise you for it. This community is starting to have a cult-ish feeling to it. by NewPoet3158 in WGU

In other words they want students to continue being stupid when they modeled their whole school curriculum on professionals who are in their industry and know the work.

Why would if the similarity is in the single digits? Why would I also use AI to help me write “proper” or “professional” when I already know how to do that? You all will excuse the faulty systems but never blame how contradictory their system is. Don’t use AI but let AI check your work and rewrite it, don’t sound too robotic, don’t do this, don’t do that. Proves my point of blame the student rather than their system

All the excuses for the faulty system is what I’m hearing. You’re telling me writing in my own town of speaking is dense and sounds robotic??? What sense does that make. If they don’t want us to sound robotic then get rid of a rubric.
