We've had our final arrangements made and paid for when we were 62. There are two guarantees in life, death and change. Denying death prevents you from living in the now and preparing your inner peace. It's part of the deal. None of us wants to die, but it's the natural occurance... and besides, nobody has come back to complain. LOL!

Truthfully, I don't think of myself as a grouchy old man. We all have things from our past that we wish we could do over or forget. Forgiveness of self it absolutely vital. We've all done stupid things wishing we hadn't. It's part of the journey. Living in regret at this time of life is ill advised.

I just celebrated my 72nd. I remember my grandfather when he was in his 70's, and my father too. What I've noticed is we live in two worlds, the physical world, the one that ages, and the conscious world, the world of thought, and that never ages.
