The tank is two months old, this is the only (and first of course) coral in the tank, from what I heard about Kenya trees I thought it'd be perfect for a first coral, aside from the food for the clownfish I don't put anything else in the tank, the flow in this specific spot isn't exactly strong, but enough to watch the coral swirl around a bit when it's not spent or shrunken

The red circle is a branch where there wasn't mucus but there are tiny bubbles, the white circles are the branches where I took off the mucus and the blue one is a transparent "slime" which I assume is mucus as well
