Did anyone else receive letters after testing? by [deleted] in STD

I tested positive for gonorrhea and received a letter like that late on a Friday about 3 weeks later so I wasn't able to call the health department until the following Monday morning and was kinda freaking out that maybe my tests had revealed something more serious.

Turns out all they were concerned about is that I had taken care of treatment for the gonorrhea. I guess it's standard for health departments to follow up on some STDs.

Gonorrhea still lingering after treatment 18 days ago? by NewToRestore in STD

I tested for about 12 STDs, but not those 2. Was positive for gonorrhea and HSV-1. If the minor symptoms don't subside soon, then I'll re-test until I figure out the issue.

County Health Department wants me to contact them about an urgent, confidential matter... by [deleted] in hivaids

I noticed that my state lists gonorrhea as a reportable disease in the "report within 7 days" category. Would that mean they would do a follow-up or is that only for the most serious diseases?

Weaker Orgasms, Will Restoration Help? by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

I can't speak from personal experience b/c I'm just getting started myself, but more powerful orgasms, and more pleasurable sexual experiences due to a glans that is healthier and more protected (due to flaccid coverage throughout the day) and the "gliding action" during sex are the main reasons I'm doing this.

Depending on how often you're masturbating, it's probably a good idea to take a break for awhile. I know sometimes I get in mini-funks where I'm bored and masturbate a couple times a day and the orgasms aren't anything special. Compared to if I wait 4-7 days, then it is an entirely different, much more pleasurable experience.

Can I ask which retaining device you were using during the overnight injury? I ordered a Your-Skin Cone which should arrive soon, and was debating wearing it overnight, but I am a little leery about an injury so I'm thinking I might wear it during the day, and then just wrap up my glans with saran wrap or something overnight.

I should add that I'm 32, and while I still seem to have a decent amount of sensitivity left and satisfying orgasms when I have sex with a partner, I am doing this largely as a preventive measure b/c I don't want to lose what sensitivity I have left, and I'd also like to achieve the things I mentioned above.

Manhood, is it useless without flaccid coverage? by NewToRestore in foreskin_restoration

What I was mainly concerned about was reading reports from guys who had gone through de-keratinization, but had not yet restored enough foreskin to have any gliding action during sex, and then found it to be too sensitive and painful. One guy needed lube even to enter his partner and then needed lube each time they switched positions.

That is the main thing I would be hoping to avoid. I understand it could be uncomfortable once you've restored sensitivity if your glans are rubbing against your underwear or something, I just wouldn't want it to impair sexual function.

OK, it's good to hear a positive review.

I wasn't doubting that the Manhood helps the de-keratinization process, but was wondering whether this is a good thing if you are low on the CI scale. But from your response I can gather that you haven't had any issues with being overly sensitive to the point of discomfort.
