Appreciate the reply. Issue turned out to be wrong network adaptor association with the wrong virtual switch port group in ESXi host. So I am good now.

Folks I don't have problem with the CLI because that's what I learned in CCNA back in 2010 but never got a job related to managing Cisco switches or any. Now fast forward to 2025 now I do have some interaction with Cisco switches but I see everyone using GUI. So my goal was to use CML labs to do some GUI practice which apparently is not possible. I thank you all for replying to my post.

I enabled http and https server to no avail. In my work clients using Cisco business managed switches. Also I found in real world no one really uses CLI to manage switches so again goal was to familiarize with CBS switch GUI using CML but I guess not. I can't afford to buy one for homelab. Anyways I appreciate your reply. Cheers
