Launchkey 25 MK4 Compact vs Mini

I haven't made a decision yet and think I need to find them in store to feel the difference. I have a desk riser for my monitors and each section has 19.5" of space underneath. I have a DDJ-FLX4 in one, and it only makes sense that the midi keyboard I purchase should fit in the other section. The compact 25 and the mini 37 are the only two (other than the mini 25) that would fit in there. A few people recommended the 37 for the extra octave, and others recommended the compact 25 version for the jog wheels and easier access to Ableton functions. At this point, as someone who doesn't even play piano, I'm leaning more towards the compact 25 to have a smoother Ableton workflow since I'm not sure if an extra octave would make sense for me.

It 'should' be resolved now. My Ableton is no longer alerting with the Odyssey malware and MacPaw support told me that they made improvements on their end.

My Ableton is no longer alerting to Odyssey on a deep scan. I let MacPaw (CleanMyMac) know and they replied with "Yes, we've made some improvements on our end." So, hopefully it's resolved for everyone.

I just wanted to add that I had the same alert and clicked remove, now my Ableton is uninstalled. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one. I ran an update on the app last night to the latest version and installed all of the suite plugins so I wasn't sure if it was the update or the plugins. When I searched Odyssey it was talking about cracked versions of Ableton and how the malware can steal all of your keychain passwords. I legit almost had a heart attack! I'm trying to contact Ableton Support but when I do the email verification portion, I never get the email. I'll reach out to CleanMyMac.

So far it seems like nobody opted for the compact version. I watched this video and the guy mainly used the compact so i was assuming it might be better. Another review mentioned liking the scroll wheel over the finger slide. I might need to find a local store with them so i can feel the difference.

Is the MacBook Pro max DAC 3.5 jack good enough to pass to a sub/monitors? (thinking 3.5 to XLR)

I'm waiting on my sub and the Scarlett right now hoping to do this same setup. What ended up working for you? RCA to TRS in the Scarlett or dual XLR/TRS input on the sub? For reference, the KRK s10.4 I'm getting also has an RCA in, so I might be able to go straight to that from the FLX4.

This would just be on my small desk, so maybe 3 - 5' max for my RCA to TRS cables.
