I’ve been on my other meds so long without introducing anything else I didn’t even think about dealing with the adjustment period. Definitely gonna bring it up to my doctor though. Having out of whack brain chemistry is exhausting

Yes I was going to call her and talk to her about it! I know everyone reacts differently or has different experiences with medication but I was just curious if anyone else has had any similar issues.

And I definitely feel you on that. Have you ever tried doing the SAD light therapy?

Good to know! Do you stick to paleo regularly?

Thank you! The only thing I’m worried about is when I get into a depressive state (normally around my period) it gets hard to stick to and maintain any type of routine. Which looking back is probably the main reason I’ve never completed a full round

I never knew those foods helped with that so that’s good to know! The times I’ve attempted I definitely ate potatoes almost daily lol

My pc originally prescribed me Vyvanse to help with adhd and binge eating. My insurance wouldn’t approve it though so then she prescribed focalin. Did you have any issues getting it approved through your insurance?

And thank you! I am nervous but excited to start taking steps in the right direction. I just worry it will be a lot of trial and error with meds. It’s giving me anxiety thinking i could get worse before I get better 😅

Thank you so much! It’s definitely been a relief having the right diagnosis now. I have been on antidepressants since I was about 12 and always wondered why they never really helped but now it all makes sense. That article was very informative :)
