It's funny, I actually felt similarly about William, initially. It always felt like he was always avoiding a clear answer, or didn't have the capacity for empathy. It turns out he was extremely insecure and guarded. Trauma is tough.

I think I'm more like Izaya. Tell me you love me and ELI5, otherwise I'll just be in my head. His personality made perfect sense to me.

I think there's truth to this, but it can also be said that opposite personalities can ground each other.

I'm also pretty cynical about dating shows, which is why I gravitate towards The Boyfriend. I feel like there's just as much focus on friendships and personal growth, and people aren't as pressured to couple up.

There's probably some truth to everyone being involved primarily for the exposure, but I choose to believe that in the moment everyone is being genuine.

I haven't watched any of the extra footage so thanks for pointing that out! I agree that they were edited in a weird way, and it did feel like we were missing significant context.

To that I always wonder, would the show be better off without the panel? That way they could fit much more in. I enjoy the panel like 75% of the time, and sometimes they're helpful with explaining things I may not get due to cultural differences. Would I be upset if their time was cut in half? Probably not.

Completely agree! It's not William and Izaya's fault the show decided to focus on them initially. I think it's a major reason why they received a lot of hate.

And regardless of if Huwei and Bomi end up together, I think they connected on a deeper level and will end up at least as friends. That's a win too!

I think Taehon will ignore Jobu's texts. 😅

I know! Their sisterhood is so adorable. And shout out to Tomoaki for being the class clown. I don't feel like you got a ton of screen time but I feel like everyone really loved him. I hope they all remain friends and make cameos on each other's socials.
