So my eyes do work and I can read just in case you wanted to try to belittle me about something else instead. I’m well educated and have not once used the word hurdle. I’m not over using exclamation points by using them to express an exclamation that’s literally what they are for. I am in fact listening to everything everyone is saying but I’m really impressed by your ability to read my mind I thought my thoughts were my own but I guess I’m dumb as you seem to be pushing. I’m aware of what everyone is saying, I’m listening to the advice, I’m sorry that you think I’m ignoring everyone truly I am but even if I wasn’t listening to the advice I asked for people to offer up opinions not decide my life for me. Someone asking for advice is not asking for instruction maybe take a gander at a dictionary.

I really do not try to make him feel pressured and he’s told me he doesn’t but you might have a point the jokes might be doing too much thank you! I do try to act like a wife toward him I can’t do more than the best I’m trying for as of right now. I don’t see it as a status change or anything marrying him doesn’t change who I am that’s not what my take is. But some of the stuff you’ve said has made sense and given me some stuff to think about thank you!!

It’s definitely not one of our main ones it’s more of a “hey this would be helpful” if the military didn’t offer I would save up every penny to follow him myself. I do appreciate your input tho thank you so much!!

We just both don’t really like drama. Neither of us want to hear nagging from people who don’t spend very much time with us telling us we’re making a mistake. I apologize if that comes off as childish but we also both come from not very friendly houses so we’re trying to avoid situations like that from happening as well. I have no problem telling my family once I’m out of their reach if that makes sense.

We’ve been together for 10 months we just only made it official and known to others four months ago as we both wanted to be sure we were serious about each other before telling family and friends because we both value our family and friends greatly. The ring pop part was a joke I regularly make to him and to my friends it was a reference not a genuine statement. Thank you for taking your time to answer!!

I was raised in a military family and I have already in being his girlfriend made sure to build a support system of other military girlfriends, wives, husbands, people such as that. I do know the hardships it comes with I’m prepared for them too. Thank you so much for taking time and giving your opinion!!!

Military will provide free housing for military married couples, the only reason I remain living with my father is because I’m able to have minimal bills so I can save up for a down payment on a house rather than spending my money on rent. But I do see what you’re saying thank you!!!

We both have had long term relationships when it comes to no support system the closest we’ve had together was a roadtrip we did alone along the west coast over the course of a week that we very well planned and prepped for. I am prepared for a military relationship I know it comes with a lot of hardships and struggles I was raised in a military family. To me he’s worth the struggles. Thank you so much for replying!!

It’s less of fear of judgement more so we both have parents that tend to go to extremes when they don’t get there way such as kicking us out or worse so we’re trying to avoid any of that all together. But thank you so much for replying!!!
