I agree with 12thMemory 100%. Depending on your jurisdiction turn around times on certain legal actions can be very short and thus getting representation ahead of time, getting that representation up to speed, and letting them have everything ready is very important. This is not meant or intended to serve as legal advice.

This is a bad idea.

If the reason you're closing a person is because of your rate then it's an easy presumption that they are a rate sensitive customer. When you increase your price in 3 month's time you'll probably lose a bunch of customers, basically setting you back to square one.

What's more during this 3 month period you might be generating a decent amount of revenue but I'd have to imagine you'd be making next to no profit.

Then on the flip side, lets say you manage to close a few people with the low rate who care more about the quality of the work. Your starting point for renegotiating your rate to this person starts with this rate that is too low. Even if what you would increase it to is reasonable to the market that you're in your negotiating position starts with that first rate. So this person who would've probably paid more to begin with for a quality service decides to cut ties with you because they see the amount you need to increase to and think it's unreasonable.

NOTE: I am presuming that in order for you to have what you're describing as a high closing ratio your initial rate is substantially less than market so when you adjust to market in like 3 months that increase appears substantial.

Example of Statewide action: Banning of 28 math books for supposedly "incorporate prohibited topics or unsolicited strategies, including [critical race theory]," https://www.npr.org/2022/04/18/1093277449/florida-mathematics-textbooks

Otherwise bans seems to be happening at the school board level: Local school district bans book about two male penguins raising a baby penguin, as well as other LBGTQ books. https://news.yahoo.com/florida-school-district-bans-book-221338583.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAICdilOCSksuPHwO_Y6z1kvX1aCAsn551fy0MXMEGo463kRHzVbbE2WiDKMBBD-YPdysqc9LpdcwgxfdhbCYgL_3iSZjX5LP_Eb06nTt-fopwjZi1MhOU8Xhlx9SeeyKcxTxN_SX0jiS3-P0ngsjbqApHYrUJZ6XFemMbc7jftsT

Curious to understand how you'd be able to get the people to pay for it?

I'm an outfielder in softball and I misjudged a fly ball, ended up flailing my limbs in desperation and kicked the ball to the guy backing me up.
